Please
Note:
Due to a family emergency,
Merlin's will be
temporarily "closed" for
the next few weeks. We
cannot take in any animals
at this time. If you are
calling to get a recently
adopted pet spayed or
neutered, expect a slight
delay in the return call,
but you will get your
animal spayed/neutered as
is stated in our
application.
We have a new page for
Lost and Found pets.
If you have any
information or would like
to add a pet, please
contact Kyle.
Merlin's Refuge is
currently looking for a
hard working, animal
loving person to head up
our fundraising efforts.
We are looking to fill a
non-compensated (
monetarily, at least)
director position. This
position requires a person
with high energy,
committed, loyal, brave
and true... no wait I
think that's the Boy
Scouts.... but really we
would like someone who
could put a little time
into the position and help
us continue to service the
Nebraska/ Iowa area.
Animal lover a must,
experience preferred but
definitely not required,
to apply or for more
information contact Kyle
at Merlin's Refuge
895-6605 and please leave
a message we will get back
to you!!
Foster families are always
needed!! Contact 895-6605
to learn how you can
become a foster family.
We also
want to thank the vets
that have helped us
through the past year and
who continue to help us:
Dr Apker ( Bel Air Animal
Hospital), Dr Jesske
(American Animal
Hospital), Dr Bosilievac
( sorry if I misspelled
it) (Best Care Pet
Hospital on 30th and L),
Dr Zimmerman( Benson
Animal Clinic) , Dr
Rachwitz (Langley Animal
Hospital), Heartland
Animal Hospital in
Bellevue, Candlewood
Animal Hospital and
Dr Siggers in
Millard at Best Care pet
hospital.
Kennel space and foster homes are in very short supply.
Consequently, we are asking anyone who wants us to find a home for their
pet(s) to keep them in their homes until we can arrange for placement.
